Supported by years of operational experience, Dan Rose can provide relevant and reliable expert witness court testimony, written expert opinion and court case analysis in tactical operations issues. He has years of experience as a full time SWAT officer and has deployed in over 2000 tactical operations including hostage rescues, barricaded suspects, high risk search and seizure warrant service, vehicle assaults and tactical level dignitary protection details and other operations requiring specialized tactical training and knowledge.

Dan has been contracted as a Subject Matter Expert by numerous nationally recognized institutions including Heckler & Koch Defense, The U. S. State Department, Anti-Terrorism Solutions, Inc., Global Law Enforcement Advisory Group, Science Applications International Corporation and Danner. He holds numerous tactical operations and special weapons related instructor certifications and has been certified as an instructor over the years by numerous nationally recognized organizations such as the National Tactical Officers Association and the Federal Bureau of Investigation, just to name a few. He has provided special weapons and tactics training to law enforcement officers from federal, state, local agencies, military special operations personnel and international special operations units traveling as far as Indonesia and Hungary.

Additional experience includes developing standard operations procedures and lesson plans, conducting first responder tactical equipment assessments, developing and implementing special weapons / tactics and firearms training courses.

Expert witness experience includes testifying as a corporate expert in law enforcement tactical training standards, flashbang deployment procedures and use-of–force issues.
